Club Foot Awareness Programme

W e at EMS Memorial Co-operative Hospital & Research Centre, Perinthalmanna aim in providing treatment to all, at af fordable cost.

Club foot (means deformity of ankle and foot) is an anomaly that occurring one in thousand live birth. If not properly treated this may result in severe deformity and restriction of activities of the child. To wipe out the menace of club foot the Department of Orthopedics, EMS Memorial Co-operative Hospital has started Free Club Foot Clinic which operates on all Thursdays from 3 PM to 5 PM.

Our free clinic has registered more than 30 patients in the past ten months. W e are giving free service to all these patients including plaster , minor sur gery and braces from January 2012. Curing a feet like this requires financial, technical, and moral support for us. Keeping this in mind we plan to conduct a meeting of beneficiaries of CLUB FOOT CLINIC.
